PFM Missionaries Continue To Reach The Unreached Despite Covid!

Even during the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic, every one of PFM’s missionaries has remained on project, trusting God to protect and provide.  The peace and fearless trust in God that each missionary has shown demonstrates to the lost how much better life is with Jesus.

  • On the Sagada project, more families are opening their homes for Bible studies during this COVID crisis.  Often the people themselves approach the missionaries asking to study the Bible.  And, praise God, a number of the converts themselves are stepping forward to give these Bible studies!
  • On the Baquilan project, a brother who was backslidden has decided to come back to the Lord as a result of the COVID crisis!  The members are becoming more active, and greatly value the spiritual support of the missionaries.  A Bible student has also begun regularly attending church!
  • On the Palanan project, Ednalyn, a convert from a nearby mission field, has moved with the missionaries to this new field and is actively working alongside the missionaries to plant God’s word among her people.  A number of people are already studying God’s word, attending church, and having nightly worships.
  • On the Buhid project, the native church elder has embraced his responsibility to lead the church, and is growing in his abilities.  The missionary family are actively working to train and develop all of the native leadership in both of the nearby Buhid churches.
  • On the Eheb, Kay-Ang project, converts continue to study God’s word despite the isolation of COVID.  Converts visit and encourage each other as they are permitted to.
  • On the Bakun project our missionaries had just arrived on the new project site when the lockdown was enacted.  Thankfully the government allowed them to meet outdoors, and their simple worships helped the members keep up their spirits while under ECQ.  The missionaries used their extra free time to plant a vegetable garden, and have been distributing the produce to grateful neighbors who were struggling to find sufficient food.

Praise God with us!  He has used even this terrible crisis to bring the good news of salvation to His lost children.  He continues to move people to faith through PFM’s missionaries, and PFM’s missionaries have faithfully carried on the work despite the pandemic.

But as with all of us, COVID has hit PFM hard.  More than once, PFM’s missionaries and home-base staff have gone without even a basic stipend.  It is in times like these that our faith is tested.

Friends, team-mates in God’s work, PFM needs your help.  During this COVID crisis we are reaching out to our brothers and sisters in Christ.  Please, will you consider joining our team by supporting God’s work through PFM?  Click here to find out how.

Thank you so much for your generosity, for your prayers, and for passing on the word!  Only as we work together will we be able to finish God’s work.
